My Story

About Liza

Coach, facilitator, and fellow traveler on the path of change

Liza Katsman

Every detour was part of the path

My road to this work started in a high school classroom, not a boardroom. As a teacher early in my career, I watched up close how differently leadership could show up, and the difference in how students responded was impossible to ignore.

That experience eventually led me into the corporate world, where I found myself on the receiving end of both exceptional and deeply damaging leadership. The worst of it didn't just affect my work. It affected my health and sense of self in ways I had to recover from before I could find my way forward.

At a time of uncertainty in my own career, I worked with an executive coach who helped me find the confidence to build something of my own. I started a consulting practice focused on inclusion, culture, and engagement, and over time the work kept pulling me closer to the individual. Eventually, coaching became the center of everything.

Six years into running my own business, I also know firsthand what it takes to go out on your own. It requires a different kind of bravery, a different mindset, and more support than most people expect. Business owners are building something from nothing, and that work deserves as much care and guidance as any corner office.

I do this work because I've seen, and felt, the ripple effect that leadership has on everyone it touches. That's why I show up both for the individual and for the teams and organizations around them.

Other Areas of Work

For some clients, the work goes beyond leadership and business. As a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, I also support leaders and entrepreneurs whose relationship with food or body acceptance is affecting their confidence, self-worth, or ability to show up fully in their work.

How we feel in our bodies can have a profound impact on how we show up in our work.

Building a path to what's possible

Every engagement starts in the same place: understanding where you are now, where you want to go, and what's standing between the two. Sometimes that gap is about skills or systems. Sometimes it's about mindset, confidence, or the stories we tell ourselves about what's possible. And sometimes the work is about challenging you to think beyond the limits you've quietly placed on yourself.

The range of what we work on reflects that. From prioritization and accountability to emotional intelligence, self-confidence, and the relationships that make leadership sustainable, every engagement is built around what you or your team actually needs. Because no two people arrive at the same place for the same reasons.

What stays constant is the approach. This work is always a partnership. I want every person or team I work with to feel genuinely heard, and I bring the kind of honest, caring feedback that makes our time together as effective as possible. Not honesty for its own sake, but honesty in service of real growth.
